No, cross-server communication—that is, talking with calyxinstitute jids—is not supported by incognite jids.

Take note of the following details from your settings page's jabber section: "connection port," "private jabber proxy," and "assigned jabber JID." Click "Reset JID Password" and preserve the value if you can't remember your password (you may reset it with your jabber client afterwards).

On Pidgin, click "Add Account."

Choose "XMPP" as the protocol, input your password, fill in the space after "@" as the domain, and use the portion from the "assigned jabber JID" before the "@" symbol as your username. Next, choose "private jabber proxy" as the connect server and specify the "connection port" under the "advanced" tab. Finally, choose Socks5 as the proxy type, host 127.0.0.1, and port 9050 under the proxy tab.
